Infant car seat – is the cheapest version enough?
It takes approx. 2 minutes to read this article

While large children often (mistakenly!) travel on stands, which are made of fabric-covered polystyrene foam, transporting an infant requires much more attention and caution. So what kind of car seat for a toddler should you choose?

Here are some of the most important features that a good child safety seat should have. Remember that your retailer will often help you choose one!

  1. It should have ISOFIX – ISOFIX is a special system that allows to fix the seat permanently without using the car seat belts. ISOFIXes are built into newer vehicles and hold the car seat firmly in place at all times. Not only will you avoid the seat moving in a collision, but the system will also prevent your child from moving around corners, for example.
  2. A good car seat should be tested – when buying, check what tests the car seat has passed and when. Check all certificates and read reviews on the internet
  3. Choose a car seat that is suitable for the height and weight of your child. The seat must fit perfectly and, importantly, it needs to be replaced every so often!
  4. When you buy a car seat, drive in the car intended for it to check that all the safety systems work and comply with the car manufacturer’s instructions.

Remember that you should not save on safety!
